CONCLUSION

I hope that the contents of this project go some way towards clarifying and highlighting certain aspects of Hofner guitar production. These guitars bring back fond memories to many who were involved and have lived through the Rock and Roll era. Hofner guitars bridged the huge gap that existed at that time between Gibson, Guild, Gretsch Rickenbacker, and real cheap instruments and made it possible for some of us to obtain a good business-like guitar at an affordable price.

God bless Karl Hofner.
