This is the Spanish-assembled version of Hofner's Model 188.

Note the "Fabricado en Espana" decal at the bottom right-hand side.

 

Type 511 "Staple" pickups are invariably stamped "Super" when fitted to Hofner Spanish-assembled guitars.
