This guitar is now fitted with a non-standard control console. The original console has been retained and is shown below. Note the German-made Hofner vibrato tailpiece unit fitted to this guitar.

The standard mother of pearl inlayed "Bellflower" Hofner headstock.

 

  This type of Type 511 "Staple" twin-coil pickup with "Super" embossed on the case was only used on Spanish-made Hofners.

 

  The number printed on the back of this guitar is not a serial #, but maybe a Spanish Government licence number?
