Each Type 511 pickup has a separate on/off switch as well as a slider to control the volumes individually. There is also a master volume control, and in addition it has a control which raises and lowers the volume producing a kind of wah-wah effect. There is also a treble boost switch. The bridge has a damper attached to it for mutted notes.
