"It has been refinished in pastel blue
and has lost its control plate due to breakage. As the bridge is brass, I
manufactured a new one in the same material. I have owned the guitar since 1978
and have used it very infrequently, therefore there is almost zero fret wear.
The sound is, as someone else said on your site," chunky". The guitar
is looked upon as part of the family and is always put away in a hard case after
use. We were both born in 1958 and I think she is faring much better than I
am!"
