The carrying cases for Al Badaway's Shorty Collection
Al - The interior of the majority of the gig bags is a felt cloth material. (See photo above) This has a tendency to snag at the strings and wears quickly.
The solution?.............. Hofner (or their bag manufacturer) apparently sewed some exterior poly over the felt. (See photo below) It appears they used the same material as the exterior. I received the bag below with the White Shorty with the extra pickup--someone was obviously into some experimentation.
