Ian, on stage in Falkirk in November 1961. He is playing a 1961 Hofner V3 Solid through a Selmer Little Giant Amplifier.
Ian later up-graded to a Fender Telecaster. He is on the far-left of the above 1964 photo, with the Sundowners who were a Falkirk-based band. Also in the photo is a Selmer Treble n Bass amp with Goliath Speaker Cabinet. That looks like a Watkins Copicat under the centre Vox AC30.
