Steve - This guitar has been made to the Committee Thinline model specification, including the 18" body width. It is not a Committee however as it does not have the Model/Serial Number label inside the body. I suspect that it was originally intended for supply to the Selmer UK Company as a Committee, but because of the lack of popularity in the UK at that time for archtops in general and Hofners in particular, it was sent off for sale in the US as a 468 model.
The most obvious difference between this guitar and the usual 468 guitar is the headstock and fingerboard inlays.
The vibrato unit is the type fitted to Europe & US market semis. If the guitar had been sold as a Committee by Selmer, it would have had a Bigsby or a standard Escutcheon tailpiece.
Note the Committee-style headstock and fingerboard inlays.
