Beat Instrumental was THE magazine in the UK during the 1960's and 70's for news of the current bands. It was, of course, used by all the major UK equipment manufacturers to advertise their wares, and Selmer was no exception. Throughout their years of manufacturing band amplification, Selmer produced many press advertisements, some of which are funny, some informative, but all of which seem rather quaint somehow when compared to present-day advertising techniques.
