The Hofner HF 11 (left) and HZ 23
The "budget" price series is comprised of the HS 513 which is a 7/8 scale guitar; the HF 11, HF 12, and HF 15 which are solid spruce topped guitars; and the HZ 23, HZ 26 and HZ 27 which have solid cedar body tops. Back and sides are laminated mahogany, maple, burbinga, or rosewood depending on the model.
Necks are mahogany on all guitars in the Series, except for the HZ 27, which comes with a rosewood neck. All fingerboards are rosewood.

The Hofner HGL 50SE
This Series uses a Finish based on an environmentally neutral varnishing process. Three models are available - the HGL 5, the HGL 7, and the HGL 50. All these have solid spruce tops, with the HGL 5 having laminated walnut back and sides, the HGL 7 using maple, and the HGL 50 has solid walnut.

The Hofner HM 88
Hofners best classical guitars, using solid timbers throughout. All the guitars have solid spruce tops, with the HM 83 having aningre back and sides, the HM 85 using solid mahogany, and the top-of-the-shop HM88 solid rosewood. The HM 88 also gets an ebony fingerboard on an alder neck.
