On occasions, Hofner appear to have omitted the headstock logo on some of their guitars. (!?)
The two strip wooden blocks supporting the laminated top from the main body core can be clearly seen in this photo. The 4579 was not quite as "solid" as it seemed.
This particular 4579 has point to point wiring instead of a PCB as seen on other 4579s.
