Early 1970's HOFNER MODEL 4579 SOLID ELECTRIC GUITAR

Note the location of the pickup selector switch. From around 1974, this was located on the upper bout of the body on the 4579.  The pickups fitted to the 4579 were the Hofner Type 515 "Recording" pickups.
