This guitar has a vinyl covered body, being produced at a time when Hofner were turning out guitars in such large numbers to meet the demand that they could not spare the time to allow conventional paint finishes to dry!
The flat-bar type tremolo arm is missing from this example.
Non-standard machine heads are fitted. The originals would have been open-geared with plastic buttons.
