Thanks, Howard, for sending me a picture of your single pickup, original condition Colarama.
Many of the Coloramas from the early 60's were covered in vinyl material, instead of paint. The story goes that Hofner were producing so many of them in the "beat-craze" days to meet demand, that they couldn't afford the time to let paint dry!
