HANK EXPLAINS THE HISTORY OF HIS BASS:

This Hofner was made in Germany and exported/purchased in March 1970 in Hong Kong by a soldier on leave from Vietnam. It was sent home to Mountain View in California and stored in its original case with the strings slackened one step throughout it's whole life. It is all original, right down to the flatwound strings.It even has the truss rod adjustment tool still in it's original mini-manila envelope!
