Note the Type 511B "Staple" pickups with large surrounds, the wide control console with teacup knobs and white slide switches, the multi-layer pickguard without a Hofner logo, and the "long" tailpiece.

Despite being a "re-issue", this bass still retains the "flush" heel and single-piece neck of contemporary 500/1s. Note that there is no binding on the neck though.

Note the raised plastic Hofner logo and the re-pro "catshead" open gear tuners.
