Note the twin gold stripes around
the body sides - similar to the decoration that Hofner applied to the
c1960 "semi-solid" Colorama/162 models. Were these side-stripes applied
to all 4572's of the period, or is this further evidence that this was
a special guitar produced for a trade show or as a trade sample?
